Description NH 110743-2: Scuttling of the French Fleet at Toulon, 27 November 1942. Destroyer Le Mars capsizing to starboard after being scuttled at the Toulon Lazaret (Quarantine Station) on 27 November. This is the first view of a series showing the ship sinking. The original print was received from the Office of Naval Intelligence. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
