Description
Deutsch: Naturschutzgebiet Kaisbergaue (HA-009) in Hagen-Vorhalle. Im Hintergrund das Ruhr-Viadukt und das Kraftwerk Cuno. – Das NSG „Kaisbergaue“ ist eine der letzten exentiv genutzten Auenlandschaften im Hagener Raum. Es erstreckt sich über eine 20 ha große Fläche entlang des Ruhrufers, von den Spülfeldern aus der Ausbaggerung des Harkortsees bis zur Kläranlage Vorhalle westlich des Eisenbahnviadukts. Der Wert der Kaisbergaue für die Natur ist der Vielfalt an Pflanzen- und Tierarten nach enorm. Die verschiedenen Lebensräume der Fläche bieten Wasser- und Wiesenvögeln, Libellen, Amphibien, Säugetieren und verschiedenen Pflanzenarten der Wiesengesellschaften und der Gewässer gleichermassen hervorragende Lebensbedingungen.
