Description
English: Uniforms for members of the paramilitary Førergarden (Quisling's life guard) of Nasjonal Samling (NS), Quisling's Nazi/Fascist party in Norway 1933 – 1945 and collaborationist organization during the German occupation of Norway in the Second World War. Page from NS årbok 1944 ("NS Yearbook 1944") published by "NS propaganda leadership" and printed in Gjøvik, Norway 1943.
Norsk bokmål: Galla- og tjenesteuniform for Førergarden, Vidkun Quislings livvakt og paradeavdeling fra 1942 til våren 1945. Nasjonal Samling (NS), Quislings nasjonalistiske fascistparti 1933–1945, besto av flere paramilitære medlemsorganisasjoner der oppbygging, rangsystem, symboler og uniformer var inspirert av forbilder hos det tyske nazistpartiet før og under andre verdenskrig. Førergarden brukte uniformer etter Hans Majestets Kongens Garde fra før krigen påsatt initialene VQ og solkorsmerker.
  • Førergarden Tjeneste. Grønn uniform med enkeltspent jakke. Sølvknapper. Lange skibenklær. Førergardens merke på venstre arm. Brun skjorte med sort slips.
  • Førergarden Galla. Blå uniform med enkeltspent jakke. Sølvknapper. Dobbelte, hvite beiser i benklærne. Båtlue med dusk. Førergardens merke som speiler på jakkeoppslaget. Solkorset med sverd i sølv på venstre arm. Brun skjorte med sort slips.
Bildefil av plansje på side 125 i NS årbok 1944, «utgitt av Rikspropagandaledelsen» med Willy Klevenberg som redaktør, og trykt hos Mariendals boktrykkeri, Gjøvik 1943. Tegningene er laget av ukjent/ikke navngitt illustratør/opphaver. Ifølge Nasjonalbiblioteket og norsk lov om opphavsrett er det tillatt å bruke innholdet i boka fritt: «Du kan kopiere, endre, spre, vise og fremføre dette verket, selv for kommersielle formål, uten å spørre om tillatelse.»
