Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Type 14 pistol was designed by Japanese general Kijiro Nambu around 1925. Series 1 pistols were produced from December 1941 to November 1943, this particular weapon was produced in August 1943. It has the enlarged trigger guard which is seen in 1940's production pistols, allowing the gun to be fired with a gloved hand. This pistol is displayed with its original magazine and holster. Exhibited in the Texas Military Forces Museum in Austin, Texas.
Deutsch: Die Typ 14 Pistole wurde vom japanischen General Kijiro Nambu um 1925 entworfen. Die Serie-1-Pistolen wurden von Dezember 1941 bis November 1943 gefertigt. Das abgebildete Modell wurde im August 1943 hergestellt. Es hat einen vergrößerten Abzugsschutz, der es erlaubt, die Waffe mit Handschuhen abzufeuern. Die Pistole ist mit original Magazin und Holster im Texas Military Forces Museum in Austin, Texas ausgestellt.
