Description
English: Remains of the Hertha Beech (Hertha-Buche) in the Stubnitz. This Fagus sylvatica (beech) forest forms the largest part of the Jasmund National Park (Nationalpark Jasmund). This area is part of Sassnitz, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.
Deutsch: Stammrest der längst abgestorbenen Hertha-Buche in der Stubnitz, dem ausgedehnten Buchenwald (Fagus sylvatica) des Nationalparks Jasmund im Nordosten der Insel Rügen. Der Baum steht auf dem Gebiet der Stadt Sassnitz, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Deutschland.
