English: No primeiro bloco, é possível relembrar a ação do prático Nelcy da Silva Campos, que evitou a destruição do Centro do Recife, em 1985, quando um navio com mais de duzentas toneladas de produto inflamável pegou fogo e explodiu causando pânico na cidade.
Um ato heroico que provocou mudanças do Porto do Recife, construído ainda no Brasil colônia. O mesmo ponto de atracação de navios que recebe os turistas para movimentar a economia pernambucana. E falando em atividade portuária, Suape, no Litoral Sul, virou sinônimo de transporte de mais de três milhões de toneladas de mercadorias por ano. No centro industrial, 150 empresas transformaram a paisagem que, um dia, era apenas canavial. |
