| Description |
Français : Atmosphère mythologique en ce lieu. Le dieu romain Neptune, du haut de son bassin octogonal orné de branches gothiques se dresse sur la colonne au milieu de la très large Hauptstraße. Cette fragile statue de 1783 se trouve maintenant au musée de la maison du chevalier et une réplique y prit sa place.
Concernant l'édifice baroque en arrière-plan avec son remarquable pignon à volute et sa licorne a été construit sur les vestiges de l'édifice précédent, qui a brûlé en 1689 en même temps que toute la ville. Ce bâtiment accueillait la pharmacie de la licorne et était la plus ancienne pharmacie d'Offenburg. Son nom vient du pouvoir de guérison qui était attribué à l'animal fantastique qu'est la licorne. Maintenant un café à pris sa place. |
