Description
English: This majestic new railroad terminal will occupy the entire block bounded by Jackson Boulevard and Adams Street and Canal and Clinton Streets. It will furnish accommodations to four railroads: the Pennsylvania, Chicago, Burlington & Quincy, Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul and the Chicago & Alton Companies. The passenger station in itself will be a massive rectangular edifice of white marble and with all improvements the total cost will be about $65,000,000.
