Description Soldiers with the 1156th Engineer Company load debris from Hurricane Sandy into the bucket of a front-end loader for removal from the Breezy Point section of Queens, N.Y., Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. Members of the unit were called on duty in the days after Sandy hit the seaside community and have taken part in debris removal operations, food and water distribution and other missions while working in the area, one of the areas hardest hit when Sandy made landfall.
