English: Nodes Beacon replica On the highest part of what is now known as Tennyson Down stood an ancient navigation sea mark known as the Nodes Beacon. In 1897 it was replaced by the famous Tennyson Cross. In 1977, to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the Rotary Club of West Wight erected this half size replica. |
