Description
English: Nordic Artists' Centre Dale (Norwegian: Nordisk kunstnarsenter Dale, NKD), an Artist-In-Residence centre located in Dale in Sunnfjord, the administrative centre of the Fjaler municipality on the West Coast of Norway. The A-I-R program encourages international contacts for artists and focuses on visual arts including design, architecture and locally rooted practice. Nordic Artists’ Centre Dale is funded by the Norwegian Ministry Of Culture and hosting international visual artists over periods of two or three months.
  • To the left: Fagerheimvillaen, the functionalist villa/house/residence of former politician Oddleif Fagerheim (1911–1999), designed by architect Peder A. Ristesund and built 1970

Norsk bokmål: Nordisk kunstnarsenter Dale (NKD), et kunstersenter og artist-in-recidense-anlegg på Dalsåsen i Dale i Sunnfjord i Fjaler kommune. NKD har som hovedvirksomhet drift av et gjesteatelierprogram, med særlig innretning mot nordiske kunstnere.
