The window commemorates the men of the Kings Own Royal Regiment Norfolk Yeomanry who died in the First World War. The central figure features a Crusader Knight between scenes of soldiers in the trenches. The Knight's shield bears the arms of the county with the arms of the city of Norwich and of the Diocese, Great Yarmouth, The Crown, and Kings Lynn shown in the tracery. "Erected by the officers of the Kings own Royal Regiment Norfolk Yeomanry in memory of their fallen comrades of all ranks 1914 to 1918". The artist is unknown. |
