Summary[edit]

Description
English: A bit too grim to go walking so no surprise that I headed to Ramsbottom to check out the ELR's mini-gala based on the running in of the overhauled A4. No surprise that Riley's had it up and running as planned. No surprise that it was raining - Easter Weekend and a steam event. The only surprise was that 60009 was tender first up the hill which meant a slight change to the plans as to where and when to see the two steam locos. The 9.30 Bury to Rawtenstall service.
