| Description |
English: Down iron ore train entering Nottingham Victoria. View southward, towards Leicester, Woodford Halse and Banbury/London on ex-GC main line, also Grantham on ex-GN line. The Class 9 train is probably coming from the Denton or Harlaxton outcrops via Belvoir Junction and is bound for either Stanton Ironworks via the GN line and Kimberley or Staveley Works via the GC line: it is headed by Thompson Class O1 2-8-0(rebuilt 12/45 from ex-GC O4).
