Description
Español: Advocación de la Santísima Virgen Maria, venerada en la Comunidad de Barcelona (Municipio Simon Bolivar, Estado Anzoategui, Venezuela), esta imagen fue encontrada a fines del siglo XVI, en las cercanias de la antigua ciudad de San Cristobal de la Nueva Ecija de los Cumanagotos, en el tronco hueco de un arbol de totumo o tapara (crescencia cujete), de ahi deriva el nombre con que fue conocida desde entonces, la Virgen del Totumo o Virgen del Totumito.

Esta pequeña Virgen,se conserva en la actualidad en la parte central y superior del Altar Mayor de la Iglesia de San Cristóbal, Catedral de Barcelona.
