Summary[edit]

Description
English: Nyarn shinzh is the national puzzle, or game, of kalmyks, the people residing mainly in the southwestern part of Russia. The puzzle can sometimes be called "12 horn rings". Its name can be translated as "delicate thinking". It usually has 8 or 12 rings specially binded on a small plank. The goal is to put all the rings off the special iron stick. The image shows the solved state of the puzzle.
Русский: Нярн шинж (нәрн шинҗ) — национальная калмыцкая головоломка, или игра, народа, проживающего в основном на юго-западе России. Иногда головоломку называют "12 роговых колец". Название может быть переведено как "тонкое соображение". Она обычно состоит из 8 или 12 колец, специально скреплённых на небольшой дощечке. Цель — снять все кольца со специального железного прута. Изображение показывает решённое состояние головоломки.
