Description
English: Oppdal Station (Norwegian: Oppdal stasjon) in Oppdal, Norway, in April 2019.
  • Memorial plaque on the outer wall facing the platform, featuring the autograph/signature of Crown Prince Haakon:
Dovre Line 80 years; Dombås – Oppdal – Støren; Constructed in 1910 – 21.158 km long. 8 km of tunnels. 87 bridges. 16 stations. Opened by King Haakon VII in 1921. Commemorated by Crown Prince Haakon in 2001.
  • Oppdal Railway Station (Norwegian: Oppdal stasjon) was built in 1917 (its roof was completed in 1916) and officially opened in 1921 when the railway line from Dombås to Trondheim was completed. The wooden building was designed by Norwegian State Railways's architectural office under the leadership of Gudmund Hoel. The train station is situated at an elevation of 545 meters above sea level and it is under the ownership of Bane NOR, the Norwegian railway infrastructure manager. In 2014, the station's facades were renovated and restored to their original colours.

  • Oppdal jernbanestasjon ble reist i 1917 (bygget kom under tak i 1916) og åpnet i 1921 da banestrekningen Dombås-Trondheim sto ferdig. Trebygningen ble tegnet av NSBs arkitektkontor under ledelse av Gudmund Hoel (1877–1956). Togstasjonen ligger på 545 meter over havet, har adresse O. Skasliens veg 8 og tilhører Bane NOR. I 2014 ble fasadene på stasjonen renovert og tilbakeført til opprinnelige farger.
