Summary[edit]

Description Karnak temple is a vast collection of temples (in ruins now) built over centuries starting sometime in the 16th century BC. Several pharoahs contributed to its construction, and the result is a sprawling complex that is amongst the largest ancient religious sites in the world. Karnak is near Luxor.
