Description
Español: Antigua prensa de aceite de engranajes reconvertida en monumento conmemorativo, a la altura del número 21 de la calle Conde de Guadalhorce, distrito Cruz de Humilladero, Málaga, España. Se trata de una prensa para capachos de aceitunas patentada en el año 1897 por el ingeniero industrial Rupert Heaton, fallecido en 1962. La prensa fue fabricada en la desaparecida fundición y fábrica de maquinaria agrícola e industrial La Esperanza, propiedad de Rupert Heaton, que estuvo en funcionamiento hasta los años sesenta del siglo XX en el barrio de Huelin, a la altura de la actual glorieta de Antonio Molina y calle Princesa. En la parte superior de la prensa, se lee: «La Esperanza / Málaga / 8553».
