Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Old Station, Welshpool 19th century building resembling a French chateau. It was originally designed as the headquarters of the Oswestry, Welshpool and Newtown railway, and opened in 1860, but the headquarters were later moved to Oswestry. When the Welshpool relief road was built in the 1990's, the course of the railway was altered and a new platform was built. This building is now a shopping complex. |
