| Description |
English: Old rail track in Halwill Moor Plantation The former railway line from Halwill to Holsworthy runs for over 3 kilometres through Cookworthy Forest, and although it is shown as a cycle route on the maps, it is not cyclable - the section shown is an easy bit. In fact, a cycle / footpath (the Ruby Trail) runs alongside to the north. Here, the remains of an embanked stretch would have carried the line across a small stream. |
