Description
English: Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. View from the south at the roof of the former chapel tower "Lappan", which is the landmark of Oldenburg. The tower was built 1467/ 68. It was increased by one floor in the early 18th century. The roof which is made of copper dates from the same time. It was restored from 1988 to 1990. In the background (left) the tower of the Garrison Church (1903) can be seen.
