Description |
English: Olive Treat moved from New York to Seattle with her husband Harry Whitney Treat in 1906. The Treats owned a mansion on Queen Anne Hill, where they also kept a stable of horses. They owned several carriages with matched teams, such as this one. The Treats bought hundreds of acres of land north of Ballard and developed the Loyal Heights area and Golden Gardens Park.
