Summary[edit]

Description The Dhofar War. Very soon after the Sultan's Forces make an area secure, Civil Aid Development begin the construction of a base providing the nomadic peoples and their livestock with water, medical cover, elementary education, and finally veterinary advices. This location is Jibjat. Empty ammunition boxes, and 44 gallon oil drums are filled with sand as protection against enemy small arms fire and incoming mortar rounds. The man in the centre, without a shirt, is part of the British Army Training Team.
