English: ORGANISATIONSBUCH DER NSDAP 1943: Seite 40a Übersicht über Dienststellenschilder. II. Hauptschilder (Kreisleitung Greifswald etc.)

Plate showing wall plaques/signboards for the official offices of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, NSDAP) in Nazi Germany. The plaques are decorated with the Parteiadler ("Party's eagle"), a stylised heraldic Imperial Eagle combined with the Nazi Hakenkreuz (swastika). The emblem/coat of arms of NSDAP was made the national emblem (Hoheitszeichen des Staates/des Reiches) by order of Adolf Hitler in 1935. (The two insignia can be distinguished as the Reichsadler ("Imperial/National eagle") looks to its right shoulder whereas the Parteiadler looks to its left shoulder.)

Cropped image with increased contrasts etc. of a page copied from Organisationsbuch der NSDAP by Reichsorganisationsleiter Robert Ley (1890 – 1945) published 1943 ("Herausgeber: Robert Ley"; "7 Auflage: 301-400 Tausend"). Publisher : Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf., München. 856 pages. 596 (ie 750) p: ill, maps, ports, plates; 22 cm; German language. Letters in Fraktur style typefaces.
