Description
English: Introduced, ascending to prostrate, hairy, herbaceous legume to 50 cm tall. Stems are usually branched. Leaves have 19–35 leaflets, 4–13 mm long and 3–6 mm wide. Stipules are about 2 mm long. Flowerheads are 2–5-flowered umbels on peduncles 25–55 mm long. Calyx is 4–6 mm long, hairy, with teeth ± equal. Corolla is pink to white and about 7 mm long. Pods are compressed 12–25 mm long, constricted between seeds, and with a beak about 2 mm long. Flowering is in early spring. A native of Spain & Portugal, it is rare on the coast.
