Summary[edit]

Description
English: Sculpture "La Ola" (1996) by Jorge Oteiza at MACBA in Barcelona, Spain. El Raval, a Barcelona's Old City neighborhood, was renovated with an 'iconic' building. After more than 10 years since the inauguration of MACBA, one can say that in architectural terms the intervention turned out to be pretty successful. The building is a key figure in El Raval, and its mother-UFO-like presence is recognized not only by urbanists and architects, but also visited/used by all kinds of citizens (http://www.geocities.com/medit1976c3/macba.htm).
