Description
Deutsch: Ehemalige Siegesallee in Berlin mit drei Denkmalgruppen und der Siegessäule. Links die Gruppe für Otto II. (ca. 1147-1205), dritter Brandenburgischer Markgraf, Enkel von Albrecht dem Bären (rechte Gruppe) und Sohn von Otto I. (mittlere Gruppe). Zur Gruppe Otto II.: Die Büste links zeigt den Ritter Johann Gans zu Putlitz, die Büste rechts den Chronisten und Domherrn Heinrich von Antwerpen (auch: Heinrici de Antwerpe). Eingeweiht 1898, geschaffen von dem Bildhauer Joseph Uphues. Zur Zeit gelagert im Kreuzberger Lapidarium.
English: Former Siegesallee in Berlin with three monument groups and the Victory Column. On the left the group commemorating to Otto II (c. 1147-1205), third margrave of Brandenburg, grandson of Albert the Bear (group on the right) and son of Otto I (middle group). Ad rem the group Albrecht II: The bust on the left commemorates to the knight „Johann Gans zu Putlitz“, the bust on the right to the chronicler and capitular „Heinrich von Antwerpen“ (also: Heinrici de Antwerpe) Inaugurated 1898, created by the sculptor Joseph Uphues. At the present stored in the Lapidarium in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
