Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgruppe 3 in der ehemaligen Berliner Siegesallee. Zentrales Standbild: Otto II. (ca. 1147-1205), dritter Brandenburgischer Markgraf und Enkel Albrechts des Bären. Die Nebenfiguren zeigen Johann Gans Edler Herr zu Putlitz (links); und rechts den Domherren und Chronisten der Mark Brandenburg Heinrich von Antwerpen. Bildhauer: Joseph Uphues, Enthüllung 22. März 1898.
English: Monument group № 3 in the former Siegesallee in Berlin. The central monument commemorates Otto II (ca. 1147-1205), third margrave of Brandenburg and grandson of Albert the Bear. The bust on the left commemorates the knight Baron Johann Gans zu Putlitz; the bust on the right Heinrich von Antwerpen, cathedral canon and chronicler of the March of Brandenburg. Sculptor: Joseph Uphues. The monument was unveiled on 22 March 1898.
