Description
English: Hurricane Otto officially formed in the Atlantic on October 8, 2010, becoming the 8th hurricane this year. With maximum sustained winds of 75 mph, Otto is a weak Category 1 storm, and poses no threat to the U.S. The course projected by the National Hurricane Center takes the storm eastward towards the Azores. Hurricane Otto is shown here in a GOES-East visible image taken on October 8, 2010 at 1815z.
