Two terracotta balls from Ilios with various symbols including the swastika type. One of the balls appears to represent an owl and according to Schliemann has "hair" markings on the opposite side of the face. This might represent an early form of Athena as a celestial owl, which was quite likely a short period comet as suggested here archive copy at the Wayback Machine.
