Knife River flint oxbow projectile point.

Knife River flint, quarried in North Dakota has been found across North America. Why? Because skilled arrowhead-makers could predict how the flint would fracture when struck or knapped. This Knife River flint oxbow point is a type commonly made and used between 7,800 BP and 1,500 BP.
