English: Oystercatchers on the Mill Dam pond, Beaulieu The Mill Dam pond was originally the feeder pond for the mill at Beaulieu, seen here when the sluice gates are open at low tide - exposing mud and the bottom of reed beds. A pair of oystercatchers are walking/standing on the mud. They can be very noisy and are easy to identify. |
