A capela de São Pedro dos Pescadores ou capela de São Pedro como é mais conhecida, foi construída no início do século XIX próximo a área onde franceses chegaram para morar no início do de 1927, para prestar serviços ligados a aviação pois nessa época se deu início aos voos pilotos de travessia do Oceano Atlântico, de sua localização é possível ter uma visão magnífica do mar de dentro onde se localiza o Morro do Pico, assim como o mar de fora. Sendo possível avista-la de vários pontos de mar, quando se está embarcado.
