DescriptionPIA02113.jpg | This image shows comet Tempel 1 as seen through the clear filter of the medium-resolution camera on NASA's Deep Impact spacecraft. It was taken on June 30, 2005, when the spacecraft was 3,262,030.3 kilometers (2,027,026 miles) away from the comet.
