Description Willa "Lala" (Reymonta 29) w najstarszej części Otwocka, tzw. Aleksandrówce. Na posesji są 3 drewniane domy letniskowe. Środkowy istniał już w 1893 r., należał do rodziny Jeromina. W 1906 r. właścicielem „Lali” był Jakub Schatzschneider, teść Władysława Reymonta. Pisarz przebywał w Otwocku wielokrotnie z żoną Aurelią. Pierwszy raz w 1908 r. podczas kuracji żony. Na ścianie domu, od strony ul. Reymonta, umieszczono w 2001 r. tablicę pamiątkową. Niewykluczone, że któryś z pozostałych dwóch domów na działce był własnością noblisty. W Otwocku powstało "Lato" -część powieści "Chłopi". Często tu cytowany Cezary Jellenta jako adwokat reprezentował Reymonta w procesie z Koleją Warszawsko-Wiedeńską. Chodziło o odszkodowanie za wypadek w 1900 r. Po wygraniu tej sprawy Reymont wreszcie przestał klepać biedę.
