Description
English: Facade of Rosa Palace in Lisbon, Portugal. This building was substantially altered in the 18th-century, possibly following the Lisbon Earthquake of 1755. Despite the simple aspect of the exterior facades it houses a valuable collection of azulejos (tile work panels) depicting some important episodes of the history of Portugal and the history of the Viscounts of Vila Nova de Cerveira and Marquesses of Ponte de Lima.
Português: Fachada do Palácio da Rosa em Lisboa, Portugal. Este edifício sofreu substanciais alterações no século XVIII, possivelmente na sequência do Terramoto de Lisboa de 1755. Não obstante o aspecto sóbrio das fachadas exteriores o palácio apresenta no seu interior uma valiosa colecção de painéis de azulejo com representações de alguns episódios da história de Portugal e da história da família dos Viscondes de Vila Nova de Cerveira e Marqueses de Ponte de Lima.
