Deutsch: Palazzo Ricasoli am Fluss (ital.=Fiume) Arno in Florenz. Stadtpalais der Familie und Geburtsort von Bettino Ricasoli (1809-1880), genannt der Eiserne Baron; Politiker (zeitweise Ministerpräsident) und Agronom auf Castello di Brolio, Chianti, Toskana). In 32. Generationen sind die Barone Ricasoli ein weltberühmtes Aushängeschild des italienischen Weinbaus. Seit über 700 Jahren wird in den Weinbergen rund um Castello di Brolio Wein angebaut. Baron Bettino Ricasoli war es, der 1872 die "Eisener Formel" für die Rebsortenzusammenstellung des klassischen Chianti entwickelt hat, die fast 100 Jahre später als Grundlage für die Definition der DOC- Bestimmungen diente. Seit 1993 ist die berühmte Weinkellerei aus Gaiole wieder im Besitz der Familie Ricasoli.
