I visited Mizumoto Park, Tokyo, Japan. And I found swallows flying around the same place. So I decided to take panning of them. I actually had 400mm lens in my camera bag, but I found that they are too fast to chase with the lens. So I decided to use my 100mm lens and crop later. Still it was so difficult to capture - they are flying not only so fast and unpredictable. This picture is taken with shutter speed of 1/250s, still I get motion blur like this. I took about 600 pictures and have only 3 successful ones. Anyway it was so fun and I'm happy to take a picture like this. I know the swallows are just doing their job to catch their food, but I appreciate their taking time to let me take great pictures.

水元公園で同じ場所を飛んでいるツバメさんたちを見つけました。通りすがりではなく、何度も同じ場所を飛んでいるようなので、これはシャッターチャンスとばかりに流し撮りをしてみることにしました。400mmのレンズで追ってみましたが、速すぎてファインダー内に捉えることができず、100mmのレンズで撮影し、後でトリミングすることにしました。ツバメさんは本当に速い上に不規則に動きます。シャッター速度を1/250秒に設定しましたが、それでもこんなに背景が流れました。およそ600枚写真を撮りましたが、成功したのはわずか3枚です。でも、こんな写真が撮れてよかった。粘った甲斐がありました。ツバメさんたちはごはんの虫を捕まえていただけかもしれないけれど、何度もシャッターチャンスをくれて感謝感激です。
