Kommentar: Maria Louise von Österreich als Herzogin von Parma (1814-1847), geboren 1791 in Wien, gestorben 1847 in Parma, war die Tochter von Franz II./I. und die zweite Ehefrau von Napoleon I. Sie verabscheute Napoleon, musste ihn aber aus politischen Gründen heiraten. Aus der Verbindung ging der spätere französische König Napoleon II. hervor. Nach der Abdankung Napoleons wurden ihr auf dem Wiener Kongress die Herzotümer Parma, Piacenza und Guastalla zugesprochen. Sie residierte in Parma als Maria Luigia. Sie lebte dort mit dem Grafen Adam Albert von Neipperg (1775-1829), mit dem sie drei Kinder hatte. Die Verbindung wurde erst nach dem Tode Napoleons durch eine morganatische Ehe legitimiert, die Kinder zu Fürsten von Montenuovo erhoben.
