Description
Español: Parque 5 de Noviembre o ‘La Concha’ como suelen llamarle los colonenses. El parque fue bautizado 5 de Noviembre para recordar que en esta fecha se selló en 1903 la separación de Panamá de Colombia. La obra, ubicada en calle 6 y 7 avenida Amador Guerrero y Herrera, fue inaugurada el 5 de noviembre de 1942 por el entonces presidente de la República Ricardo Adolfo de la Guardia, en un acto presidido por el gobernador Carlos Quintero, el alcalde del distrito Manuel J. Joly y el presidente del Consejo Municipal Dr. Juan A. Núñez.
