| Description |
English: Part of clay works, Newbridge ball clay quarry The various grades of clay are shredded and stored separately in bins in clay sheds. Clays may be transferred to works elsewhere for further processing and blending according to the end use. The black stuff in the foreground is lignite, here frozen, an abundant waste material in the Bovey Basin. A spoil heap appears to be in course of formation. |
