Description
English: Paul Sébastien Gallimard is the son of Sébastien Gustave Gallimard and Henriette Chabrier. He was born in Suresnes on July 20, 1850 and married Lucie Duché (1858-1942) on April 12, 1880 in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. One of their children is the famous publisher, Gaston Gallimard (1881-1975). Paul Gallimard, a great collector and patron of the arts, is the owner of the Théâtre des Variétés, where his mistress, the actress Amélie Diéterle, performs. He died on March 9, 1929 in Paris in the 9th arrondissement.
Français : Paul Sébastien Gallimard est le fils de Sébastien Gustave Gallimard et de Henriette Chabrier. Il est né à Suresnes le 20 juillet 1850 et se marie avec Lucie Duché (1858-1942), le 12 avril 1880 dans le 9ème arrondissement de Paris. Un de leurs enfants est le célèbre éditeur, Gaston Gallimard (1881-1975). Paul Gallimard, grand collectionneur et mécène des arts est le propriétaire du Théâtre des Variétés, où se produit sa maîtresse, la comédienne Amélie Diéterle. Il meurt le 9 mars 1929 à Paris dans le 9ème arrondissement.
