Summary[edit]

Description
English: As seen on a sunny April 2015 morning, this eastward view down Peckham Street from the corner of Detroit Street places us in the heart of the traditional Polish-American neighborhood on the East Side of Buffalo, New York. The Wardynski's sausage factory at left is the supplier of what is still the foremost local brand of kielbasa, while the twin steeples of St. Stanislaus, the so-called "Mother Church of Polonia" which at its height was one of the largest Catholic churches in America by parish population, rises near the center of the image.
