Summary

Description

Only now have I realized that the last two penumbral eclipses, in September 2016 and last January, occurred with a very similar, almost identical libration. The difference consists only in the position referred to the earth's shadow, that is to say almost opposite. This circumstance allows us to estimate the effect of the atmosphere during a penumbral phase.
