English: Portrait of Peter Martyr Vermigli, engraved by Henry Hoppner Meyer and printed by Leonard Benton Seeley. This stipple engraving of "Peter Martyr", mistakenly identified as Peter Martyr d'Anghiera, was pasted to an interleaf inserted before the title page of the John Carter Brown copy of the 1516 edition of his De orbe novo decades
