Description
English: View of the square of Monte Giordano and the Oratory of S. Filippo Neri (1 in the image) currently named Piazza dell'Orologio (the Clock square) after the Clock tower topping the oratory. The view includes Palazzo Scarinci (2 in the image) and Palazzo Spada (3 in the image) and opens on a road coming from Monte Giordano street (4 in the image) leading towards the statue of Pasquino. This road is currently named Via del Governo Vecchio. The engraving is not signed by Giovanni Battista Falda, and unlike most of the other engravings in this volume (Book I) the name of the publisher, Giovanni Giacomo De Rossi, does not appear.
