An agricultural colony in the Judean Hills established in 1895 by Bulgarian Jewish. It was destroyed in the 1929 Palestine riots but was rebuilt. In 1948 war it was abandoned. The Convoy of 35, Haganah fighters left Hartuv in 1948, all were killed
