English: Pillbox on Pickets Hill A well over grown pillbox looking down Pickets Hill, at this point the road has the start of steep embankments each side.
There was at some time an old quarry at this site, chalk cuttings can still be seen. Photo is taken from the start of the bridleway (sign can just be seen to the lower right) to Smithy Lane |
