Description

A Piscinas das Marés é um conjunto de piscinas de água salgada localizadas na Praia de Leça na Freguesia de Leça da Palmeira, Concelho de Matosinhos. Construída na década de 1960 e inaugurada em 1966, foi projetada pelo arquiteto Álvaro Siza Vieira, o mais conceituado e premiado arquiteto contemporâneo português. Em 2006 foi classificada como Monumento Nacional.

As duas piscinas (uma só para crianças) de água salgada são uma alternativa às várias praias que se estendem ao longo do concelho de Matosinhos.

A Piscina das Marés inclui duas piscinas, vestiários e balneários e um bar/lounge.
